These pratha are soft, thick,soft creamy paneer, chunks and crispy onion ,buttery flavour that is my most favorite Paratha of all time. ?

Ingredients for Paneer Paratha Recipe: 

  1. 1.5 Cups Atta/ Wheat Flour(For 4-5 paratha)
  2. Water(pani)
  3. ½ Tsp desi Ghee(or oil)
  4. ½ Tsp Sabut Dhaniya 
  5. ½ Tsp Black Pepper(kala mirch)
  6. 200gm Paneer(Cottage cheese)
  7. 2 Tsp salt(namak)
  8. 1 Tsp Red chilli
  9. 1.5 Tsp Dhaniya Powder
  10. ½ Tsp Amchoor Powder(Optional)
  11. ½ Tsp Haldi
  12. ½ Tsp Roasted Jeera Powder
  13. ½ Tsp Ajwain
  14. ½ tsp garam masala powder
  15. 1 inch Ginger ( Adrak)
  16. 2-3 Green chilli
  17. 1 Onion ( chooped)
  18. Corinder Leaves( Dhaniya pata)

How to make Paneer Paratha

Atta Dough with ghee
  1. Take 1.5 cups whole wheat flour/atta, ½ tsp salt, 1 tsp ghee or oil in a mixing bowl.
  2. Pour about ½ cup of water.
  3.  Start mix and begin to knead. Add more water (if required add ⅔ cup water or less)and knead to a smooth soft dough.
  4. Cover and allow the dough to rest for 20 to 30 minutes.

Make the Paneer Stuffing


  1.  While the dough is resting, prepare the stuffing. Grate 200 grams of paneer/cottage cheese in small slices. see the picture given below.
     Add 2 to 3 finely chopped green chilies, ½ tsp dry Amchoor powder, ½ tsp garam masala powder, ½ tsp red chili powder and 1 tsp salt(You can add more of salt, red chili powder according to your taste).
     ½ Tsp Sabut Dhaniya and½ Tsp Black Pepper(kala mirch) and make a paste and add it to panner grate.
  2. Add1  squre chopped onion, ½ tsp dry Dhaniya powder, ½ tsp roasted jeera powder, ½ tsp Ajwain and 1 inch Ginger(optinal if u add any other masala).
  3. Mixed everything well so that the spice powders are perfectly mixed with the grated paneer and chopped onion.
    Make one small balls from the dough and roll them in your palms to make them perfect round ball.
  4. Dust put off the some flour on the dough balls.
  5. With a rolling pin, roll the dough balls to a circle.(size according to your choice).
  6.  Put the paneer stuffing on one of the rolled rounds keeping one inch space around the edges with thump and first finger.
  7.  Sprinkle dry flour and roll the stuffed paratha to a circl.(tip : Don't roll the center first start with the edges then go to center and round the dough).
  8. Heat a Tawa and then put the rolled paratha on heated tawa(The tawa should be hot)
  9. To check the heat (Tawa should not be so hot otherwise it will burned out your paratha and paneer will not cooked so well).If the whole wheat flour becomes brown in some seconds, the tawa is hot enough to roast the paneer paratha. 
  10. Flip the paratha when one side is partly cooked.
  11. Apply some ghee on brown side of paratha, spread the ghee.
  12. Turn over and flip. 
  13. Let the side in which we applied ghee get cooked now.
  14. Spread some more ghee on the other side.  
  15. Flip it again. 
  16. Press/little force the edges of paratha with a spatula so that the edges are cooked.(Note: important step).
  17. Flip one more time  and cooked other side cooked.Wait for few second ,when the paratha has golden spots.
  18. You Paneer Pratha is Ready .
  19. Serve the Paratha with butter at the top and with tomato sauce.

    Mix the all masala uniformly with grated paneer and chopped onion.
