Alu Masala Recipe of Masala Dosa

Ingredients for Alu masala

Sno. Ingredients Quentity
 1. Mustard Oil  1Tsp
 2. Mustard seed(Sarso)  1Tsp
 3.  Ginger-Garlic paste  1Tsp
 4.  Carry leave  2 sprig
 5.  Green Chili  2-3 pice
 6. Chopped Onion  1 pice
 7.  Termaric (Haldi)  1/2 Tsp
 8.  Boil potato(alu)  5 pice
 9.  Red chili powder  1tsp
10. Salt(Namak) as per taste
11. Coriander Leaves
(Dhaniya pata)
1/4 cup


Steps to Make Alu masala for Masala Dosa

 1.Gather all the ingredients according to our list given above.

 2.In fresh pan add 1 Tsp oil and heat it for 30 seconds.

3.After 30 seconds add 1 Tsp mustard seed(sarso) in hot oil. And then add 1Tsp ginder-garlic paste and 3-4 curry leaves.
4.Then add the chopped onion and green chili and cook it till its color change to golden brown.

5.After that add the boil potato(before add crush the boil potato) and cook it for two-three mintues.
6.Then add 1/4Tsp turmuric powder ,1 Tsp Red chili powder and salt as per taste.
7.At last not least add 1/4 cup coriander leaves and cook for one minutes and mix it well.
 
8.Alu masala is ready.

Tips and tricks:
  1. You can make the gun powder and store in an air-tight Container for more then 30 days.
  2. You should avoid to use non-steel dosa tawa and you must be use iron tawa for crispy dosa.
  3. You make the Batter of rice, urad dal, and chana dal and store for 1-2 day.
  4. Heat a Tawa, sprinkle al little water and wipe it off gently using a cloth. ( for crispy and thin dosa).
  5. For white chutny and Sambar dal cook as per your recipe.
